Well, if that describes you and your peeps, please call Mr Biggs at 262-882-5038 for all the details.

The games will be Friday night Sept 11, 2015, starting at 6 pm.

OUR 2015 CONCERT SCHEDULE

June 3, 2015 By cornmaster

Everybody’s is gonna dance heartily this year at the Darien Cornfest. Here’s our line-up of our 2015 concert schedule.  We have got some great bands coming to entertain us this fall.

KILLER CARS

Friday night 8 PM to midnight

Killer_Cars1

From their website:  Panda handlers, Master Pintsmen, Huey Lewis enthusiasts, and so much more. All the live music you can handle.  Formed by members of Pine, Innatrance, and Dosage in 2010. Playing new Rock, Pop and Alternative covers. Energetic professional stage show. Good times had by all.

NEW HIRAM KINGS

Saturday afternoon

NH_Kings1

From their FB page:  Genre: Southern country regional hits from the 50s, 1920s hokum blues, western swing chestnuts, and -most of all- hard core honky tonk drinking songs, they pick the best of the best from a deep treasure trove of American music.

CLUTCH CARGO

Saturday night – 8 PM to midnight

Clutch_Cargo1

From their website:  Clutch Cargo plays a very diverse range of music. Anything from Chicago, the Blues Brothers, to the Doors, Van Morrison, the Beatles, Journey, Rolling Stones, John Mellencamp, Bon Jovi and much more. For each show, Clutch Cargo has over a 150 songs to choose from for their play list.

The members of Clutch Cargo are as diverse as their music. The one constant among the members is their talent both for music and entertainment. Crowds and critics alike have taken notice of them. In 2001, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 they won Rockford Area Music Industry awards and were also inducted into the Rockford Area Music Industry Hall of Fame. They are also an eight time “Best of Rockford” winner at the On The Waterfront Festival which is held Labor Day weekend in downtown Rockford.

Their live show has much more than just good music. Clutch Cargo provides a truly interactive experience for their audience. Their one rule is to play music people can dance to.

Good times will be had by all. Bring your dancin’ shoes

Caramel Apple Delights go Mobile

September 16, 2014 By cornmaster

One of the best parts of CornFest is all the great food.  Corn and brats and pork-chop sandwiches are but a few of the favs.  But there is always room for dessert.  And this year, thanks to Patti and her posse, dessert came to you.
