Match Details:
• Rock/Paper/Scissors between the two teams for the first serve. The opposite team serves first in the second game.
• Call your own faults, we do not provide referees.
• Must have 2 girls on the court at all times.
• No boy-girl rule enforced.
• Ball can touch any part of the body.
• While ball is crossing the net, it is allowed to touch the net.
• Player contact with the net is a dead ball.
• (2) time-outs allowed per team, per game.
• Captains are responsible for turning in your scores after the game.
• Scores not reported will be recorded as -0-.
• Please keep the flow of the games moving to get through pool play as quickly as possible.
• Players MUST BE on the roster, prior to the start of pool play.
• ABSOLUTELY NO food, soda or alcohol brought into the park grounds. Water is permissible.
We are here to support Darien Cornfest, a non-profit organization.

Double Elimination:
• Captain’s meeting at 8:00am SHARP, play to begin at 8:30am. We will not wait for players to show up.
• Pool play matches will be 2 sets to 21 – first team to 21 wins, no win by 2, no third game.
• After pool play, teams will be re-seeded for bracket play-offs. This will be based on total wins and losses during pool play, then based on points if there are ties. REMEMBER YOUR SCORES!
• Bracket play information will be displayed on boards and will start immediately after posting.
• Bracket play will be 3 set matches – first two games to 21, third game to 15, if needed. Must win by 2 points. Cap at 25 for set 1 & 2 and 21 for set 3.
• Subject to change if there are more than 12 teams.
• 15 team maximum.

• 1st place winner’s bracket – 35%, plus free entry into 2025 tournament
• 2nd place winner’s bracket – 25%
• 1st place loser’s bracket – 15%
